A very nice place to forget all of your issues and just relax. There are plenty of different types of flora and lots of ponds and waterfalls. They have a tea house in which they actually do tea ceremonies there every once in a while, but you have to reserve a spot for yourself if you want to experience that. The Japanese garden was may favorite, probably because of my affinity for Japanese culture and art. Sometimes the artists actually visit the gardens which is really cool to hear what they have to say about their own work. I've personally never been to a sculpture garden but it's cool to listen to everyone's interpretation of what they think the sculpture represents if the artist won't tell you. It was really cool to see international sculptures in grand rapids. ![]()
